GetJet Airlines is a Lithuanian charter and ACMI carrier based at Vilnius Airport, providing wet-lease services to tour operators and other airlines across Europe. As a Lithuanian-registered carrier within the EU, GetJet Airlines flights departing from EU airports are covered by EC 261/2004 for qualifying disruptions. Passengers on GetJet-operated flights — including those operated on behalf of other carriers under wet-lease arrangements — retain their EC 261/2004 rights. The operating carrier (GetJet) is responsible for compensation regardless of which airline's livery the aircraft may be wearing at the time of a disruption. EU Regulation EC 261/2004 entitles you to fixed compensation — regardless of what the airline tells you.
When can you claim?
If your GetJet Airlines flight arrived 3+ hours late — regardless of stated reason — you may be entitled to up to €600.
Cancellations announced less than 14 days before departure trigger the same fixed compensation amounts.
If GetJet Airlines bumped you due to a full flight, you're entitled to compensation plus a full refund or rerouting.
In most EU countries, you can claim compensation retroactively for disrupted flights up to 6 years ago.
